Vostok Amphibia

Vostok Amfibia watch (often spelled Amphibia or Amphibian) in the Soviet watch industry, was what the West would call a "Diver" watch. Produced for the Soviet and Russian military, these watches gained significant popularity worldwide. The Vostok watch factory is considered as the first Soviet watch plant to create an Amphibian watch in 1967.
Watches from the Amphibia collection were created by order of the USSR Ministry of Defense for military divers and are called waterproof by law. For several decades of release, the design of this watch has undergone few changes, their first version turned out to be so successful. Each Amphibian watch are thoroughly tested and withstand pressures up to 20 atmospheres. Amphibians are simple in their functionality, providing their owner with only the most necessary things - precise stroke, shockproof, waterproof and anti-magnetic casing gasket.
